search for traces to be merged
command: MERGE_PAIR <&var1> <&var2>
Searches all traces currently displayed and returns the first pair (two trace numbers) which have the same station name, component and channel identifiers (CHAN1 and CHAN2). If no such pair is found, two zeroes are returned. Called in a loop, using commands MERGE and DEL all traces with the same stream identification may be merged.
parameters
- <&var1>, <&var2> parameter type: trace
Variables to store the trace numbers found.
example
- merge_pair &t1 &t2
- find next two traces to be merged and store the results in "t1 and "t2 (to be defined before)
